The Perfect (and easy) Holiday Cocktail: The Malibu Breeze !
When I think of cranberries my mind instantly goes to thanksgiving and christmas dinners where cranberry is a staple alongside our families turkey. To a lot of us, cranberries have therefore become somewhat of an understated holiday season staple. Thus, as we approach thanksgiving for our American friends (sorry Canadians whose thanksgiving has already passed!) and the christmas season, now is the perfect time to share one of our favorite tropical (and obviously pineapple infused) cranberry cocktails-the malibu breeze!
The Malibu breeze is incredibly easy to whip up, using only three (common) ingredients while packing a delicious fruity-tropical-pineapple punch.
What You Will Need
To make a malibu breeze you only need three ingredients. However, if you want to add an additional festive flair, we’ve added a fourth for good measure-it’s your call. Here is what you will need:
- 1.5 Ounces of coconut flavoured rum (such as Malibu)
- 5 Ounces Pineapple Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Cranberry Juice
- Optional: A cinnamon stick
In a tall glass with ice, mix all ingredients together-it’s that simple!
If you’ve decided to add the cinnamon stick for a festive addition, mix the drink with the stick to disperse the cinnamon then leave it in to further seap and act as a garnish.
And just like that, you’ve made yourself the perfect, easy, tropical-seasonal hand crafted cocktail perfect all year round!
